Our Promise to You
We are seeking financial independence in creating a new funding paradigm for HEROES’ non-profit work. Our organization will invest in an agricultural start-up business that repurposes our ancestral land and provides HEROES with a consistent funding stream to better serve our community.
The shift to a sustainable business model will enable us to set long-term goals and operate with continuity. By investing in a trusted organization, and equipping this minority-led organization with the same tools of entrepreneurship and equal enterprise as its urban counterparts, HEROES will be an example of what small, distant satellite communities can (and will) become.
This takes a vision and a long-term strategy, but it also takes people who have been working on the frontlines of race and poverty for decades.
